How clear are you, your senior team and your board about the direction and purpose of your organisation?
Do you have a clear vision and can you all tell the same story about this consistently?
When was the last time you all took a big step back and thought properly about the medium term?
What challenges have emerged since you did, that will strongly impact you going forward?
How aligned are the staff as a whole with the senior team and does everyone understand properly (operationally and financially) the part they play in the future success of the organisation? Can they articulate this and do they live it?
How strong is your Board? Are they doing what they should be, taking responsibility for the right things and challenging and supporting you and your team appropriately?
Do you have the right people on your board? Are there skills and knowledge that you would benefit from having but you are not sure how to go about developing your board?
Do you have a business plan you proactively refer to on a day to day basis?
Do you regularly track your progress against your business plan and hold the senior team and yourself accountable for your individual and collective performance against it?
